Finally, we have done IuB over IP trial successfully this morning. Actually, we don’t need much time to do this because other team has done this but without transmission link, they did it with back to back design. We were late to finish this cause I’ve other projects esspecially roll out project, so I plan to finish this and then the trial project. (Roll out project is more priority)
In this trial, we got a transmission problem. We don’t know the configuration in other vendor equipment.
Just information, we used other vendor node for the transmission in this trial because the transmission is own by customer and it’s existing node.
We got this problem when do it in wednesday until Thursday. We couldn’t do PING Test from RNC to RBS (Node-B) when we tagged all node n2n, but the other way, we did PING Test successfully. What’s the problem?
We arrange a meeting with customer in Friday and discuss about this with transmission department from them. They said that they’ve to configure VLAN in their node and tag it. After they does it, we can do PING Test n2n and go to site (Bintaro office) to integrate and check this RBS to RNC.
Thanks God, after we work hardly until this morning, we were success to do this trial. We’ve also done test call, video call, and SMS successfully. Unfortunately, we couldn’t try PS Data because we forgot to configure this RBS LAC in SGSN.
